Gelena Solano just celebrated her first wedding anniversary with Steve Cutuli this past Sunday. But despite having spent a beautiful year full of travel, a lot of work and funny occurrences on social networks, not everything has been rosy.

With great sadness, the correspondent for El gordo y la flaca (Univision) revealed that she had lost the baby she was expecting.

We never talked about it but I was almost four months pregnant and I lost it, according to the doctors, due to stress. That definitely hurt us a lot and we will never forget,”Solano revealed exclusively to People En Español.

A few days after her wedding, which took place on May 13, Solano returned to her routine as a Univision evening reporter without thinking that fatigue would affect her health and that of her baby and would cause misery for the newlyweds.

“Steve was very bad, I cry a lot. I remember that I went in blood in the bathroom of an establishment,”he said.

Gelena and Steve, who documented the way to their wedding in a reality TV show that was presented on Univision's digital platforms, never shared what happened, "not even El gordo y la flaca knew it."

After the unfortunate event, the couple focused their energy on new projects, including the remodeling of their apartment, the penthouse in a building in the Bronx, New York area, which took more than eight months to take shape.

Starting a family continues to be among the couple's priorities and they hope to have two children soon, "we want the couple, be they twins or boy and girl, but make them two," Solano said in People VIP.
