First it was Queen Elizabeth II, now, Thomas Markle, father of Meghan Markle, has taken the floor to let the world know what he thinks about the shocking announcement made this Wednesday by his daughter and Prince Harry that they plan to leave their functions in the British Royal Family.
"I will simply say that I am disappointed," lamented the former lighting technician who has been retired for years in Rosarito, Mexico. His words were released in a press release that he made available to US Weekly magazine.
His words echo the feelings of Queen Elizabeth II who, according to high-ranking sources in Buckingham, is extremely "disappointed" with the attitude of her grandson and the Californian exact.
Markle has lived away from her daughter for years and the friction between the two has been well documented by the international press, especially the fiasco of the photos that he allegedly ordered to be taken with a paparazzi to show how he was looking for a suit for Meghan's royal wedding and Harry, to whom he was apparently never invited.

Evil tongues even assure that the queen had no idea of the announcement that Meghan and Harry planned to make or that they wanted to reside part of the time outside the United Kingdom, as they themselves confirmed. What's worse, the queen is said to have learned of the bomb news "through television," a source told the Daily Mail newspaper.
Meanwhile, sources have told British tabloid The Sun that Prince Charles, Harry's father, and his older brother, Prince William, are livid with the announcement. "This is a declaration of war against the family," said the person. "They did not consult anyone to make their announcement. They broke the protocol. There is fury [in the family] about how they did things without considering the possible implications that this will bring to the institution [of the Crown]”.
"The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge are ablaze with rage." And that cannot be good.
