Is it more difficult to create a new fragrance from scratch or reinvent a classic?

Each new perfume must have its own story, although it also has to be part of a complete narrative, so there are different challenges. It can also take years to develop a fragrance that is truly original so in any case, be it a new perfume from scratch or re-interpreting a classic, there is a lot of passion and a lot of time dedicated to the process. What has been the inspiration for this new perfume?

I am fascinated by the duality of women, it is an inspiration and a challenge to capture the spirit of that feminine duality because they are intangible qualities. For example, strength and sensuality, juxtapositions like that are what make women so intriguing.

Why has musk always been so important to you when creating perfumes?

for her was originally inspired by a certain type of musk oil that I immediately recognized as something tremendously unusual. Musk has an undeniable sense of mystery, immediacy and sensuality, which is why it became the heart of the original for her fragrance. Although my tastes are always changing and evolving, that is still the heart of the perfume line, it is still a deeply important inspiration for me. It is sensual, it is addictive and very seductive. It is magical in all respects.
