Cuban-born designer Narciso Rodríguez is known for his minimalist, elegant and classic lines. Without losing his characteristic style, Rodríguez has surprised with his spring / summer 2015 collection, betting on more modern and youthful silhouettes.

The same thing happened with the hairstyle and makeup of her show. Marco Peña, stylist at TRESemmé, told us about the simplicity of the style created for the occasion. "We wanted to modernize the Narcissus woman, we were looking for a natural woman who does not have overworked hair," he explained about the look. “We have highlighted the texture of the hair itself with a little mousse. Then it is divided into sections, braided and dried to achieve the wave that leaves hair damp and dries naturally, not with curling irons.”

"The idea was for the hair to look as if the models had slept with wet hair the night before," completes stylist Paul Hanlon. "The hair has its natural movement, we have not used extensions and we have worked the hair with our fingers."

How does this hairstyle complement the collection? “It is a perfect balance with sophisticated clothing. A simple hairstyle makes a woman feel comfortable wearing an elegant dress and natural hair, says Peña.

This very natural style was also seen in the makeup, the work of Dick Page, makeup artist of Shiseido. "The makeup is a little rough, with an eyeliner that looks as if they had rubbed their eyes," explains the artist. “We wanted to focus attention on the eyes with a cream and mascara shadow. That is why there is almost no base on the skin, we wanted the model's face to be seen, to make it simple. The lips have also been left natural,”concludes Page.
