It is not a secret that the former Miss Universe Alicia Machado has had her fight against being overweight and that she has been the victim of bullying for it, but the actress also never let herself fall and now with her example invites the public to exercise and eat healthy. In her new role as an entrepreneur, Machado joined the Loose & Slim weight loss products, which are helping her improve her figure.

"I started to taste the milkshakes and the changes have been extraordinary," he assured PEOPLE EN ESPAÑOL. “For people like me who have tried everything, it is a delicious complete food. I finally feel in control of my weight and without the anguish of thinking if I am eating correctly or not”.

It has been difficult for you to maintain the perfect figure, what is the message you would give to young women about beauty?

“Beyond the external requirement, the most important thing is to be healthy and in control of your body. You are beautiful from the inside out. Thinking for a moment about what to eat makes a difference when it comes to staying at your ideal weight. And that as I [passed] at the time, the most important thing is to be healthy and happy, the main reasons to look even more beautiful.”

What is your daily eating routine?

“It works for me to drink my milkshake when I wake up after my coffee. When I can, go straight to the gym and [from there] to the office. So I start the day with energy and in the morning I find it much better since it reduces the feeling of hunger for a longer time and helps me control the cravings to eat sugar during the day.

You are also dedicated to exercise …

“If I exercise, I love it, but I'm not obsessed either. In my experience, 70 percent of success in losing weight and staying in balance is eating. Good eating keeps us young, active and at the ideal weight”.

What do you consider most important to stay healthy?

"Feeding. The early hours of the day and before bed [taking] my protein shakes is key. Its nutrients help me with the beauty of my skin. [Exercise] about three times a week and be happy with who I am. The results are positive. My philosophy is to do something positive for my body every day, from meditating to eating healthy. That will make a difference."
