The famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo was the inspiration for the brand's new spring 2018 collection during Fashion Week in New York.

In the midst of a sea of pieces in neutral tones in the Cushnie et Ochs parade, you could also see touches of bright colors and floral patterns. Describing its style as the combination of bold sensuality with minimalist sophistication, the brand returned to its well-known elegant cuts and feminine designs. Designers Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs integrated ruffles into many of their pieces, opting for loose silhouettes and off-the-shoulder tops. However, what stood out most in this collection was the premiere of its new line of shoes with colorful ornaments and three-dimensional designs.

The styling of the models was done by stylist Justine Marjan for TRESemmé. To modernize Frida Kahlo's iconic braids, Marjan opted to create a clean and sophisticated topknot to one side with the help, in some cases, of extensions.

The expert poured Tres TWO Hairspray lacquer on the brushes and combed the hair forward to smooth it. After making the tail high, Marjan poured the Shine Serum serum into her hair and wrapped the tail to make the bun high. She put pins and more lacquer until the look will be impeccable.

The makeup for this show also had an unexpected twist: plump, plump lashes. Spanish make-up artist Gato for Maybelline said that her vision for this look was how the makeup looks after a party, the look of a woman who ends the night full of joy and adventure. The expert left the skin very natural and used only a moisturizer and some Dream Liquid Foundation liquid foundation to give it shine. Then he used the The City Mini Eyeshadow Palette in Rooftop Bronze eyeshadow palette on his eyelids, and finally the Colossal Big Shot Mascara mascara on his lashes. According to him, the secret to achieving the lumpy look is to use the tip of the mascara and press the lashes to bring them together.
