The beautiful host of Despierta América, Ana Patricia Gámez, whom we can also see every Sunday night in Mira qué baila (Univisión) told us how she prepares for this show and revealed what are the beauty and fashion guidelines that She continues to look fabulous both on TV and in her daily life.

How did you feel in this first week of Look Who Dances? Is dancing your thing?

I have enjoyed every moment from the moment I knew that I was going to be part of this fifth season of Look Who Dances. It is a personal challenge because as a child I dreamed of going to a dance academy, but it was never possible. I feel that now I am fulfilling that longing that I had. Although it has been very challenging because I have little time to rest, but the passion I feel for this project gives me strength to continue.

Who helps you get ready for the show and choose the clothes and beauty looks?

The creative team of Mira Who Dances is in charge of everything, they choose depending on the dance genre and theme. The wardrobe that we are going to use depends on them, as we must make up and comb our hair.

So everything is very planned …

We rehearse all these elements before the show so that nothing happens that damages the dance. I am happy to have Millie Morales who does my makeup and hair for each show.

We know you have a clothing store in Miami. What have you learned so far as a fashion entrepreneur?

Look Who Dances consumes a lot of time between rehearsals and engagements in addition to continuing full time in Despierta América. However, it has gone very well thanks to God and once this adventure on the track is over I plan to launch the page. What I have learned is that fashion is relative, that the most important thing is that you put on and wear what makes you happy regardless of someone else's opinion. This is my philosophy as an entrepreneur in this business.

Would you dare to launch a makeup collection?

I love makeup as a child, I always grabbed my sisters for their products and played with them, I have contemplated it for a long time, but making a quality product at a good price is a process. If someday I do, I want to feel proud that my girls are going to have something they deserve.

Do you also apply your fashion sense to the clothes you choose for Giulietta? How do you choose what you wear?

I have always dressed my Giulietta according to her age and I like to see her in her little girl's clothes, her bows and that at the same time she feels comfortable and free to play. As for what I use it is totally different from when I am working to when I am at home or with my family. For television I like to wear many dresses and very feminine clothes, but when I am at home or at my homework I am happy with jeans, a white shirt and tennis shoes.

You have skin that always looks like porcelain. Can you share with us what moisturizer you are currently using?

I like to use a lot of oils on my face which tends to be dry, the oils hydrate me and make it look juicy. At the moment I am using Kiehl's brand oils.

Red lips look great and we see that the lights a lot. Why do you like red so much or what inspires you about it?

Once my mom told me: 'when you feel low, put your mouth on red', I never forgot those words and it does not mean that whenever I have it red something happens to me or I am sad but I feel that color on my lips automatically gives fresh air.
