J Balvin Talks About His Taste In Fashion

To speak of J Balvin is to speak of good music and a lot of Colombian flavor. But the singer is also a fashion lover and knows how to appreciate designers' aesthetics very well. Not surprisingly, he was recently chosen as the ambassador for New York Men's Fashion Week. Thanks to his original style of dress and of course his great popularity, he also became an ambassador for the prestigious watch brand Tag Heuer, an appointment that makes him very happy.

"I feel very blessed," said the singer in an interview with Toys for Boys magazine. “I have known the brand since I was a youngster. I always wanted to have one but I didn't have the means to buy it.”

Balvin, who is preparing to start a concert tour, is the brand's first Latino ambassador.

"It is a great opportunity," he told the publication. "This is part of the great growth of Latin Americans."

Just as he tries to focus on his music and achieve all the goals he sets himself, the Colombian also likes to look good and keep up to date with new trends in the fashion world. Luckily, and thanks to his mom, his ideas and style experiments were never limitless.

“I liked fashion since I was little. I really don't know if what I felt was really a love of fashion, I think it was an interest in style and creating my own, "he confessed. “I was always attracted to things that caught my attention. My mom let me use whatever I wanted and I think that's why I was never afraid to experiment. So I began to understand accessories and other things. Look at my hair. Hair is also an accessory and it has become my way of experimenting."
