CoverGirl has launched its first makeup app on the market called BeautyU, created to make the experience of trying and buying beauty products easier and smarter. This new application from the beauty brand company can be obtained in the free app store and can be downloaded on any Smartphone.
Among the outstanding features are:
A facial scan - This allows you to detect facial features and then determine the ideal products to highlight user favorites.
A beauty consultation - The app asks a series of questions about the beauty routine, preferred looks and skin type. These help the app choose personalized products for each person.
Virtual tests - Thanks to the tomography and the answers about the user's preferences and needs, he or she can be seen using each product in real time. Technology tracks factions, allowing each product to be placed in the right place.
You can also scan products in stores to test them before buying, and save your favorite products in a wish-list from where you can buy later and see tutorials on how to use them to get the most out of it.
BeautyU was created in conjunction with Girls Who Code, a non-profit organization that works to close the gender gap within the technology industry.
