Kerry Washington expands her horizons by joining OPI as a creative ambassador.

In her role, the actress will start by creating a collection of enamels, which will go on sale next year, along with Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, the brand's co-founder and creative director.

“Suzi is such a bold businesswoman. This is going to be a lot of fun,”Washington told WWD magazine. “I am excited to start testing colors on the red carpet. The fun for me is that the nails are between fashion and beauty. I love playing with nail colors and exploring new shades."

The actress confessed that she was already a fan of the brand and especially of the line that Gwen Stefani created.

"She has done such an extraordinary job with her collection [because] she represents it," said the singer. "If I can do something similar, I will be happy."

For two years, the actress has also been the face of Neutrogena, where she has collaborated to create more foundation shades and thus meet the needs of women of all skin tones.
