The touching tribute to Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna that took place this Monday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles has left us heartbreaking scenes. Even so, the shocking speech of Vanessa Bryant, widow of the NBA's five-year-old, has also left many revelations about the privacy of her family, including that her husband gave her the famous blue dress worn by Rachel McAdams in the romantic film The Notebook, who starred alongside Ryan Gosgling.

"When I asked him why he had chosen the dress [from the movie], he told me it was because in that scene Allie was going back to Noah," Bryant explained about the plot of the tape released in 2004. "We hoped we could grow old together as [in the movie. We really had an incredible story."

"We loved each other with all our being," the mother of three daughters continued with a broken voice. "Two perfectly imperfect people who were raising a beautiful family and raising our amazing sweet little girls."
