Nine months ago, the life of Edgar Shoboy Sotelo and that of his wife Janet Sotelo took a 180-degree turn when they received their 9-month-old baby, Ariela Natalia. "We never imagined having a baby in New York, in the city," says Janet. "It's like you adapt, you learn and it can totally be done."
And when we see them together at three, we have no doubt about that. "Many people yearn for something in life, for us our greatest wish was to have a baby and we had been asking for it from God for a year and a half or two," says Shoboy. “The baby was a great blessing because we longed for her so much. We thought it was going to be a boy. We talked about him, but she came out. And it was a great blessing.”
That the couple decided to share with Shoboy's listeners. "The baby's middle name was chosen by Edgar's listeners," says Janet. “There was a survey of three names that we chose and they chose them. Our life changed for the better. It brings us a lot of joy."
