But what happened to Shakira's ex, Antonio de la Rúa ? The son of the late Argentine former president Fernando de la Rúa had a hot 11-year romance with the Colombian star (whom he ended up with in 2011).

The Argentine businessman was seen a few weeks ago next to the Brazilian president, Jair Bolsonaro in photos published by a newspaper in Argentina. Apparently he currently lives single, after having formed a nice family with another beautiful Colombian: deejay Daniela Ramos, who was Miss World Colombia, in 2009.

When it was learned that De la Rúa had found love with another Colombian, the comparisons between the two were immediate. I liked Shakira a lot when I was a girl. Now I would not put it in my repertoire because we do not share the same genre,”Ramos said at the time about the Barranquilla.

Apparently De la Rúa has enjoyed the low profile he has enjoyed since his relationship with Shak ended. “On my side there is no account left personally. I see her happy and she makes me happy. I see that he achieved many things that he wanted, like raising a family and I have achieved the same. It seems to me that both have turned out very well”, expressed at the time the one born in Córdoba, Argentina, in one of the very few times she has spoken about her ex.
