M'Balia Suffered An Abortion

During their marriage, M'Balia brought four children into the world. However, it was unknown that she had suffered a miscarriage, in 2012, when she was three months pregnant; This left her very affected and she had to learn to overcome this terrible loss.

"For me it was the natural grief that comes with losing a being you love with all your soul," M'Balia explained to the Mexican television program Ventaneando. "I will see my son, there in eternity, in due course."

The OV7 member is now trying to offer support to women who have gone through a similar situation, due to the fact that there is a lot of ignorance about it. She believes that it is important to report on this topic so that women who suffer this type of loss can know how to cope with the situation in the best way.

“The loss of a newborn baby is not something that is discussed very openly; It is not something that you know how to deal with at the family level, at the social level,”she explained. “Many people believe that they are exceptions; that losses of this type are exceptional and, in fact, the statistics are very high; there are more women who lose a baby than those who do not. And feeling like the exception during that moment can be very hard and not everyone knows how to approach the subject.”

M'Balia remains reserved regarding the legal situation regarding her divorce from Julián Ledón, the father of her children. But she trusts that everything is settled in the best way for the whole family.

"With the certainty that, in due course, this cycle will be closed on the legal side, just as it should be," he explained. "Focused on my children and my life and my work."
