In May of this year, Michelle Renaud surprised everyone by publicly announcing that she was divorcing her son's father, Mexican businessman Josué Alvarado, after six years together. The news came after strong rumors of an alleged romance between the actress and the Ecuadorian heartthrob Danilo Carrera, who then starred in the successful Mexican soap opera Hijas de la luna; rumors that both Renaud and Carrera were quick to deny. The passage of time has finally proved them right since, four months later, the 30-year-old interpreter is still happily single, as Michelle recently confirmed.

“Today I am only in love with my baby and myself. But the last man I was very in love with was my baby's father,”the Mexican actress made clear.

Renaud was also candid about the motive behind their marriage breakup which, as he explained at the time, he attributed to partner differences.

The actress, who is filming a new project for which she is not yet authorized to give details, once again assured that the current relationship with her ex-husband is "incredible".

"Also, if I believe that when you divorce and have children, for the sake of your children you have to have a good relationship with the father, however difficult it may be, you have to make the effort for our children," he added.
