What would you do if you stumbled upon a dating profile featuring photos of a celebrity? Would you swipe left, or swipe right?
Well, Zac Efron was one of those celebrities. After breaking up with his girlfriend of two years, Sami Miro, the High School Musical star went looking for love in a hopeless place: Tinder.
Considering his successful career and god-like looks, one would think that he'd have no problem getting a date. However, Efron claims that he completely struck out on the app, saying that nobody thought his profile was real. "Amazingly, when I signed up for Tinder, nobody swiped me!" Efron told UK's The Sunday Times, "They thought it was fake."
Our favorite Wildcat told them that leading a normal dating life in Hollywood is hard because his fame leads to many pre-made assumptions. “Dating is something I'll never be able to do,” I've told The Times. "As in the dictionary definition of dating, because one way or another I've impacted that person's life and they'll soon realize it."
Wait, so we could've matched with Zac Efron? We could've gone on a date with Zac effin 'Efron? The answer is yes. Lesson learned.
