If you are not living under a rock, you've probably heard Pedro Capó's sexy anthem “Calma” playing on the radio. It goes something like this: “Vamos pa 'la playa, pa' curarte el alma…” The song talks about going to the beach to cure your soul, connecting with nature. It's chilling surf vibes are also present in the music video, which shows Capó and reggaetón star Farruko jamming at a beach party. The song makes you want to leave your office or classroom and rush to the beach. Here are five things to know about its equally irresistible creator Pedro Capó.

1. He feels”honored and blessed” that Alicia Keys recorded an English / bilingual remix of the song in Puerto Rico, I've told Billboard. Will this be the next "Despacito"? It's certainly gaining momentum. “The song emerged in a very honest way, without forcing anything,” Capo told People VIP about the inspiration behind 'Calma.' "I connected with my inner child, with going to the beach in Puerto Rico on Sundays."

2. Success didn't come overnight - the singer struggled for a decade! “It was a long and hard process, but I'm grateful because this business requires a thick skin. I spent 10 years in New York doing musical theater, movies, playing in bars, doing whatever it took and growing as an artist. I'm grateful for those times. They were difficult, there were months when I couldn't pay the rent, and there was some serious hunger. But now I look back at that with an appreciation and pride,”I've told People VIP.

3. He came on stage in Puerto Rico with nothing but white undies and socks during a concert at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in 2015. But don't let the (sexy!) Gimmicks fool you.
