In case you thought all of the reboots ever had been done already, guess what? News of a reboot of The Matrix recently hit the internet and everyone lost their minds. Although we don't have any real details yet, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Warner Bros. is developing a new chapter of the series. So get ready for slow-motion bullet-dodging to re-appear as the favorite reference to The Matrix.
In case you've forgotten The Matrix, the sci-fi film from 1999, is probably one of the most iconic and well-known films of the last 20 years. Keanu Reeves starred as Neo and the film was written and directed by The Wachowskis. But now it looks like writer Zak Penn will be working on the treatment for the film and Warner Bros. really wants Michael B. Jordan to star in the film. TBH, we really want Michael B Jordan to star in the film too, because that would be pretty epic.
However, since details are foggy, and there's not even a script yet, maybe it's too early to start freaking out? Not for the internet! As soon as news broke, Twitter exploded with plenty of comedic reactions to the news.
