The world was shocked this Friday by the massacre that occurred in two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, which have left 49 people dead and dozens injured.

Police said they have three suspects in their custody: one woman and two men, who were detained after the attack.

Agents first responded to calls for help that came from the Masjid Al Noor tempo, the first on set to be attacked and where most deaths occurred. Soon after, the horror reached the Linwood Masjid Mosque.

By the time the police managed to take control of the situation, 41 people had lost their lives inside Masjid Al Noor and 7 more in the other temple. Another fatality died in hospital.

At least 48 people were rushed to Christchurch hospital with gunshot wounds, 20 of them in critical condition. Multiple victims have required urgent surgeries, sources confirm.

Compounding the facts, the authors of this massacre broadcast their massacre through a chilling 17-minute video that has been broadcast on networks. Facebook, Reddit and YouTube issued statements ensuring that they are doing everything possible to track such content and remove it immediately.

Photos of the video with one of the suspects and that is still circulating on networks:

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern condemned the violent events, claiming that this is "one of New Zealand's darkest moments."

On the other hand, the police report that explosives were found in several vehicles that were located on the perimeter of the mosques.

“The United States strongly condemns the attack (sic) in Christchurch. Our prayers and thoughts go out to the victims and their families. We stand in solidarity with the people of New Zealand and their government against this vile hate attack,”said Sarah Huckabee Sanders, spokeswoman for the White House this morning.
