El Chapo's Lawyer Sex Scandal

Jeffrey Lichtman, Joaquín el Chapo Guzmán's lawyer, is involved in a sexual scandal with one of his clients that has placed him in a very delicate position a few weeks after the trial of the Mexican kingpin in the federal court of New York.

The New York Post newspaper received copies of personal messages sent by Lichtman to one of his clients, Sarma Melngailis, known as the vegan Bernie Madoff after she was accused of stealing years.

In his conversations with Melngailis, the lawyer also boasts of his professional success. He claims that in several cases he managed to obtain millions in compensation for alleged sexual harassment for clients who had consensual sexual relations.
