Delicia Cordon, the ex-girlfriend of footballer LeSean McCoy, called 911 desperate after being the victim of a brutal beating and jewelry theft at her home in Georgia. The photo of Cordon's beaten and bloody face went viral on social media a few days ago, creating a huge commotion.

In the recording of the call, obtained by PEOPLE, Delicia Cordon insists to the 911 operator that McCoy, 29, had "something to do" with the assault she suffered. "She took a diamond bracelet from me," Cordon says of the attacker, who has not been identified. “She kept asking me for jewelry. I think it has something to do with my ex-boyfriend.”

In the call, she nervously says that she fears that her ex-partner is watching her on the security cameras of the house, which she shared with the footballer before separating last year. The former partner was in legal proceedings as the Buffalo Bills star wanted to remove Cordon from his property.

On the call, the designer tells the operator that she doesn't know where her son is. The mother desperately tells that her son was missing and she did not know if someone had taken him or he had left during the assault. When asked if she needs medical help, Cordon reveals, "My face is shattered."

The attacker allegedly asked Cordon for specific jewelry, and when he was unable to remove the pulses that he had on, he hit him with his gun several times. Cordon's cousin was also attacked, according to lawyers.

"Cordon suffered multiple blows to the head, face and arms during this horrible attack," added the statement.

The photo of Beaten Cordon was posted to Instagram by her supposed friend Mia Michelle Boykin with the following message: “I can't believe you did this to my best friend. Your karma is going to be very real. The world has to know what kind of animal you really are."

McCoy categorically denied the allegations on Twitter, saying they are "completely false." The footballer added in the message on his social networks: "I have not had any direct contact with the people involved in months."
