Celebrating the traditional Easter party at the White House on Monday could well be remembered as the day First Lady Melania Trump called her husband, President Donald Trump, to order when he forgot to put his hand to his heart when listening the National anthem.
In a video that has already gone viral, the presidential couple and their son Barron are seen on the semi-circular balcony that overlooks the gardens of the presidential mansion accompanied by the Easter bunny. When the first notes of the Star-Spangled Banner begin to sound, both Barron and the First Lady immediately take their respective right hands to their hearts, but the apparently distracted President forgets to do so.
Without looking away, Melania sneakily taps her husband to remind him of the gesture of respect. The president, immediately, reacts and puts his hand on his chest.
The scene has generated ridicule, memes and dozens of reproductions on social networks. Some do not fail to point out that the President's wife, a Slovenian immigrant, was more attentive than the magnate.
It is not known whether the first lady always calls the president to order with a tap on her hand, but what is clear is that she has no rapists to do so.
