After leaving the White House in the hands of Donald Trump, former President Barack Obama made the most of his vacation before returning to Washington DC to start his new stage in his life.

Proof of this is a video that appeared this Tuesday, Obama practicing water sports in the British Virgin Islands with the magnate Richard Branson, who opened the doors of his mansion in that Caribbean archipelago to enjoy a few days of sun and beach.

The British businessman, founder of the Virgin group of companies, challenged Obama during his stay in a kitesurfing vs. competition. foilboarding, practices that sports that the former president probably could not have done during his years in the White House for security.

"It was spectacular to be able to offer [Obama] the opportunity to learn to kite surf," said the businessman in a Virgin.com blog post in which he shares exclusive images of the adventure.

Kitesurfing consists of surfing holding on to a sailboat, while foilboarding is a form of water skiing on a board equipped at the bottom with fins.

“We decided to do a friendly challenge: Could Barack learn to surf before I learned to foilboard? We agreed on a day to carry out the challenge and see who would hold the longest, he continued.

After a while each practicing the sport on their own, Obama was the winner after being able to stay on the specialized table for at least 100 meters.
