Jennifer López is sweeping Las Vegas with her successful show All I have in which she flaunts her extraordinary physique (she dances and sings for two hours non-stop!), An extravagant wardrobe and the most wonderful staging. We spoke with the Diva of the Bronx a few days after the end of the first phase of her show about the success of it, its beauty secrets and the message of beauty that she wants to transmit to her daughter.
How do you feel about the positive reaction the show has generated?
I love acting and the rush it gives me on stage is inexplicable. We had been rehearsing every day since I performed at the American Music Awards and the response to the first shows has been incredible. People are having a great time and I can really feel the energy on stage.
How can you look so regal at 46 years old?
Every morning and night without fail, I clean my face and hydrate it. I live a crazy life so I love being able to take care of my skin with a simple regimen. Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition Day Cream SPF 30 by L'Oréal Paris keeps my skin hydrated. But the trick that never fails is to drink lots and lots of water!

Who or what has influenced the way you take care of yourself?
My mom was always my role model as I grew up. When I was getting ready to go to family parties or events, I would sit and watch her which was a great experience. She was and still is very selective when it comes to choosing the beauty products she uses. She definitely preferred the "homemade" option and used many natural products.
What homemade ingredient do you remember?
Avocado was a staple in my house and was used for everything, especially my hair. I also remember playing with her makeup when she was gone. She said to me: “In a good hour, Jennifer” and as she grew up she always gave me beauty advice such as recommending a lip color or helping me with hairstyles.
And you, as a mother, what message of beauty would you like to transmit to your daughter?
That loving yourself, with flaws and everything, is the most important thing in the world, and that it celebrates its natural beauty. I want her to feel confident with or without makeup. Beauty is more than lipstick.
