Meet Charo's Quirky Stylist

After receiving hundreds of tips and compliments on her lush hair, Spanish guitarist and comedian Charo, she decided to reveal her best-kept secret. The tiny actress confessed that she treats her hair like a baby, and that she remains faithful to the advice of her parents, who taught her that natural is best.

Something he left behind when he surrendered to the hands of stylists who mistreated his coveted mane, so that today he does not go to the beauty salon.

“I don't use tongs, or a dryer, or anything like that. When I get out of the bath, I roll my hair, put [a pin] on it, and then let go. This is how I [mold]”, he assured PEOPLE EN ESPAÑOL.

But the comedian's key to radiant, silky hair is in avocados.

“I make myself an avocado cream at least once a month. I take half of an avocado, a whole egg, mix them and put it on for at least 25 minutes, even if my head is draining, "he said. “Then I wash it well, let it dry, and voila! [It remains] all natural and healthy”.

Charo also revealed that she dyes it herself without the help of anyone.

What he does need help with, is styling and he joked that it must be his personal stylist: a bow tie named Mumbo Martinez.

"When I comb my hair underneath, she combs my top, and so everyone is pleased," he said with a laugh.
