Participating in a beauty contest takes a lot of preparation and above all it takes a lot of discipline. And it is that competing with beautiful and equally intelligent women is not an easy task. Luckily over time the contests have become more real, allowing the contestants to show themselves as they are, and express their individuality during the contest, starting with bringing their hair to life. In fact, during the most recent Miss Universe pageant, for the first time one of the participants was transgender.

It is precisely her natural hair that was worn by Dorcas Kasinde, the representative of the Congo at the Miss Africa pageant. The beautiful young woman took the crown, but unfortunately that was not what made her an instant sensation in the networks.

It turns out that the moment Kasinde was named the new queen, a whole party was put on with fireworks included and that was what caused a terrible accident. Due to fireworks, the young woman's afro began to burn without her noticing.

When the young woman realized what was happening, she panicked. Luckily, a man on the dais acted quickly and was able to put out the flames that quickly burned her hair.

“For those who ask, she is fine. The fire was put out immediately,”wrote a Twitter user, the same one who shared the incredible video. "She put on her crown and wore it like a queen."
