Nine years ago, Vaso Spirou stood at the edge of a cliff on her native island of Cyprus with one thought in mind: she had to heal herself from the breast cancer that was ravaging her body. After receiving a breast cancer diagnosis in 2008, she underwent a tough period of chemotherapy. Shedding almost 70% of her hair was only one of the many consequences that came with her battle.

By 2013, Spirou got her salon, Salon Vaso, back up-and-running. It flourished because of her many loyal clients that specifically sought her for her knack at repairing damaged hair. That same year, Spirou started working with a NYC chemist to help develop her line. Only two years later, Salon Vaso moved up the ranks and was named one of Miami's Top 5 Hair Hot Spots by Kardashian hairstylist Jen Atkin's Mane Addicts.

Inspired by her recovery journey by the sea, Spirou founded feel by Vaso, a haircare line formulated with marine-based ingredients. This line's in-shower products will help both healing and protecting your hair from any possible damage. Now for their styling products, they're universal, meaning any hair type can use them without a worry of needing a ton of products.

Saying that Vaso Spirou is force to be reckoned with is definitely an understatement.
