The popular Venezuelan actress always dazzles on the carpets with sexy looks and impeccable makeup, and it is that with more than 20 years in the entertainment world and the odd beauty tip learned along the way, it could not be otherwise. “I am classic in my personal life, in my real life but I have been working on TV since I was 16 years old and I had to wear a lot of makeup. From an early age I started using moisturizing cream and treating my skin,”says Espino. "Despite being classic I am flirty, I am very feminine, I like to dress up and I really like beauty."
So much so that in 2015 the Venezuelan star who plays the role of Indira Cárdenas in the fourth season of Señora Acero (Telemundo) decided to launch her own line of lipsticks under her Gaby Espino brand, a dream fulfilled not only at the entrepreneurial level, if not at the influencer level. "This line has helped me connect 100 percent with all those women who follow me," she says. "It is a line that was born from my blog [where] I say that today women can do many things, go out to study, graduate, have high positions in companies, get married, have children but they are still women, so love yourself, value yourself, respect yourself and that's where my brand is born. It has definitely helped me maintain that communication with my people and fascinates me.”
That closeness with the public and the spontaneous and natural personality that characterizes her have been a large part of her success. "Just because it's on TV doesn't mean it's different. I am an ordinary human being but with a different job, "emphasizes the also presenter who has no qualms in admitting that every woman goes through difficult moments in terms of physique. “I get cellulite, I have stretch marks, I gain weight, I lose weight, so of course I have my insecurities but I overcome them by taking care of them. We all go through those ups and downs but normal."
