The singer Samuel Sarmiento of Banda Los Recoditos, celebrated in a big way the baptism of his 2-year-old little Samuel, with a party for 300 guests in Culiacán, Sinaloa in Mexico. The ceremony was held at the well-known Iglesia Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, where the little boy received the blessing before four godparents.

"[Having children] is the most incredible thing in the world," he confessed to the interpreter to PEOPLE EN ESPAÑOL. “So far I have two children, my princess Renata and Samuel, [who] mean everything to me. They came to change my life completely. They are the most wonderful thing that my Father God could give me.”

Sarmiento made a space in his busy schedule to spend this moment with his friends and family, who helped him with the details of the party, where he also celebrated the little boy's second birthday.

"My brothers-in-law and brothers-in-law took care of even the smallest detail to make the party a success," he revealed.

The event that took place last week was obviously entertained by Banda Los Recoditos, and had as guests the singers El Flaco Elizalde and Josi Cuen, vocalist of La Arrolladora Banda El Limón, who celebrated with their colleague.

Sarmiento was happy and grateful to be able to enjoy this moment as a family.

“[To the parents I say] that you enjoy each moment with your children, that you help your wives to change them, to feed them, to take care of them. Each moment is special with our children, "he said.

What is your key to having a successful marriage?

"I think that there is no ideal key, since in my opinion there is no perfect marriage," he explained. "But something very important to carry it as well as possible is trust, communication and above all a lot, but a lot of respect from both parties."
