Scarlett Johansson Mocks Ivanka Trump On SNL

A parody of Ivanka Trump presented by actress Scarlett Johansson on the comedy show Saturday Night Live (NBC) has sparked applause and fury on social media.

In the segment you can see Johansson representing the eldest daughter of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, who arrives at a party that serves as a framework for an announcement of his new fragrance "Complicit". In it, a woman's voice is heard describing Ivanka and her fictional perfume: “A woman like her deserves her own fragrance. A scent made just for her. Because she is beautiful, she is powerful, she is complicit”.

As Johansson's Ivanka walks in a beautiful ball gown, the narrative goes on to say that while she doesn't want to be the center of attention, she always is. "Oh, how we see it," she says as they focus on her, applying lipstick in front of a mirror in which her father is reflected, represented in the sketch by actor Alec Baldwin.

The commercial also claims that when Ivanka watches the movie Titanic, she thinks it is Rose, the protagonist, but in reality she is Billy Zane, the actor who plays the villain.

The SNL segment about the also wife of Donald Trump's adviser, Jared Kushner, shows her leaving the party and while the voice of the commercial says: “Complicit is the fragrance for women that could stop all this, but it won't (it will) " The fragrance, they add, also comes in a cologne version called "Jared."
