Serena Williams Thinks She Will Have A Girl

Just weeks after giving birth, tennis player Serena Williams and her fiance "sense" that their baby will be a girl.

The athlete and the founder of Reddit, Alexis Ohanian, have preferred not to know the sex of the baby they are waiting for until they meet and debut as parents. But in a recent interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC), the businessman revealed they have a hunch that his offspring will be a little woman.

“We want it to be a surprise, really, but on the other hand we have the feeling that it will be a girl. Since winning the Australian Open while pregnant, Serena feels she has to be a girl because of all the things she has had to deal with so far, "said Ohanian. "Only one woman is strong enough to endure everything [that baby] endured."

Ohanian also spoke about her admiration for the tennis player, one of the best and most honored in history. The emotion he feels to undertake a new stage of his life with a woman with such strength and momentum for what his passion is makes him feel proud, to the point of comparing her to his mother.

"I have been fortunate to be raised by a wonderful and powerful woman, and now I am going to have my first child with a person who represents exactly that," he said.

“Of course, everything we are experiencing reinforces my belief that women are incredible and, at the same time, how useless we men are in this process. Because … what can I do right now? Do you want me to make you a cheese sandwich? In these cases we are not worth anything, he added.

Williams announced her pregnancy in mid-April through an image she posted on Snapchat by mistake.
