A Washington state mom sick with coronavirus was induced into a coma by doctors to bring her baby into the world. He is the second child of Angela Primachenko, a Vancouver respiratory therapist, who was in the thirty-third week of pregnancy when she began to feel ill, the Anglo-Saxon People reports.

On March 24, two days after testing positive for the coronavirus, she was admitted to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center where she was taken to intensive care and connected to a ventilator.

As her condition worsened, the doctors decided to induce her into a coma, and a few days later she gave birth to a baby girl who tested negative for the coronavirus.

"I feel like a walking miracle!" Said the happy mom today on the Today Show. "It was absolutely incredible." He also shared the name of his little girl, Ava. "It means breath of life, it is our little breath of life …".

Soon after her daughter was born her health began to improve and the happy mom was disconnected from the respirator on April 6. When she was taken out of the intensive care unit in a wheelchair, she was applauded by hospital health personnel.

Despite the fact that both the mother and the baby are very well, Primachenko will not be able to hold her daughter in her arms until a second test returns negative for coronavirus.

Fortunately, David, her husband, never fell ill and is pending the care of the little girl. His wife can see them for the moment through FaceTime and she surely dreams of having her miracle baby soon in her arms. Wonderful! True?
