The lynching of a child rapist, carried out by women in a village in Jharkhand, in India, was recorded and published on LiveLeak, according to the Mexican portal SinEmbargo.com.

The video shows how a large group of women, boys and girls, semi surround a man who is lying on the ground and tied by his hands with a huge rope. One of the women present pulls him, while two others proceed to spank him with huge sticks, before the viewers' gaze.

During the beating, the women shout some sentences at him in an obviously annoying tone; even others present take turns to continue the infuriated punishment against the infant predator.

According to local media, the offender, who was identified as Mithun Hansda, died as a result of the lashes by these women.

According to reports from Human Rights Watch (HRW), the sexual abuse of children in India is a common crime, which according to their report in 2013, amounted to more than 7,200 cases a year that are registered; because others are kept hidden to avoid family dishonor.

The NGO also warned that this type of crime occurs primarily in the home, in the victim's neighborhood and in schools. In addition, government reports from this country mention that in 2007, only 25 percent of infants who are raped reveal it and only 3 percent of cases are formally reported to the authorities.
