Although the image of the Chilean singer Mon Laferte showing the breasts on the Latin Grammy red carpet to denounce the situation in Chile has gone around the world, a place where she cannot be found as she was captured is on Instagram.

The social network immediately tried to stop the disclosure of the image by censoring the hashtag with the Chilean's name.

"Publications with the hashtag #monlaferte were limited because the community reported content that could violate community rules on Instagram," was the message the singer-songwriter received from the digital platform and which she herself shared.

The warning did not impress Laferte, who proceeded to hang the commented photo, but with flowers covering her nipples.

"My free body for a free homeland," the 36-year-old artist, who with her nude, sympathized with popular protests in her country, wrote alongside the image. "Instagram censors him for that the flowers."

The image of the interpreter is going around the world and has received the support of fellow professionals such as Anitta, Aitana or Sofía Reyes, who have shared it on their social networks.

"Force Chile, force the world for more artists with [guts] like you," Reyes wrote next to the photo on his Instagram account.

Puerto Ricans Guaynaa and Kany García were other celebrities who applauded Laferte's brave act.

Chile has been immersed in a wave of violent protests for several weeks, initially unleashed by an increase in the price of public transport, but which include the discontent of broad layers of the population due to inequality in the South American country.

With his message, Laferte was in solidarity with the allegations that the Chilean law enforcement authorities have committed serious abuses in response to the protests, in which 19 deaths have been recorded.

“Chile, you hurt me inside, you bleed me from every vein, each chain weighs me down that imprisons you to the center. Chile outside, Chile inside. Chile to the sound of injustice, the note of the militia, the bullet of those who do not listen. They will not stop our fight, until justice is done,”she recited at the ceremony prior to receiving the award for the Woman Alternative Music Album.
