After his recent leading role in Betty in NY, Telemundo once again trusts Erick Elías to headline his new soap opera: 1 00 days to fall in love.
The fiction, which has already begun to be recorded in the studios of the Spanish-speaking network in Miami, Florida, is an adaptation of the well-known Argentine story 100 days to fall in love that was broadcast last year in Argentina with great audience success.
The soap opera features female lead performances by Mexican actresses Ilse Salas and Mariana Treviño, two new faces on Telemundo screens; while the second leading male character falls on the Argentine David Chocarro, a regular heartthrob in the chain's productions.
Ilse Salas, protagonist of 100 days to fall in love.
Along with them will be Humberto Zurita, Hector Suárez Gomís, Sylvia Sáenz, Sofía Lama, Andrés Almeida, Manuel Balbi, Lucas Velázquez and Daniela Bascopé, among others.
Mariana Treviño, protagonist of 100 days to fall in love.
“Telemundo always aims to create new and relevant content for the US Spanish-speaking public. With 1 00 days to fall in love we have universal stories told by characters with whom we can identify in a way that entertains the entire family. We are very proud and very excited to bring this story to our screen,”said Marcos Santana, President of Telemundo Global Studios, in a statement.
David Chocarro, gallant of 100 days to fall in love.
100 Days to Fall in Love tells the story of two good friends, Constanza Franco (Salas), a successful and sophisticated lawyer, mother and wife; and Remedios Rivera (Treviño), a loving mother and wife who, unlike her friend, is a free spirit who fails to keep her life in order.
After 20 years of marriage, both decide to separate from their respective husbands.
Everything comes together for Remedios when she decides to separate from her current husband and her first love reappears. Meanwhile, Constanza agrees with her husband to take a 100-day break.
Once that time elapses, they must decide whether or not to keep the marriage.
The soap opera will premiere next year on Telemundo during primetime.
