Actors Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are attacking the tabloid rumors of an alleged separation in the most humorous and stylish way.
The couple used their Instagram account on Wednesday to mock the tabloid magazine In Touch Weekly whose next issue shows them on the cover hinting that there is an alleged separation. However, they have made it clear that they are closer together than ever.
In the video posted on Kutcher's profile, he speaks to the camera while addressing his wife, and together they deliver a message.
Baby, what's going on? What's going on?”, Kutcher asks Kunis, while she holds the cell phone with the photo of the cover of the mentioned publication.
"It is over between us!" Kunis said, mentioning the headline. "It's over!"
“Is it over between us? My God, what are we going to do?” Kutcher asks, feigning concern.
"I felt suffocated," Kunis replies, reading the subtitle on the cover of the magazine.
"Did you feel suffocated by me?" Kutcher stutters in shock. "It was so boring, wasn't it?"
"Also, I took the kids," said Kunis, pointing to another part of the cover that has that exact statement. "And you had a very dark secret exposed," he told Kutcher.
It should be noted that the couple married in 2015 and share two children, Wyatt, 4, and Dimitri, 2.
"Oh my gosh, what was the dark secret?" Kutcher asks, adding, "It must have been very dark."
The video was subtitled with another sarcastic exchange by Kutcher: “I hope they sell a lot of magazines. Maybe next week my wife will have twins. For the third time. But no one is counting."
The actors received the support of friends and colleagues, who have been the subject of alleged publications of the same nature in the past.
