Model Strips Naked In Front Of St. Peter's Basilica

A controversial model known for posing completely nude was arrested in Rome after taking a photo shoot without clothes and outside the historic St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.

Larsa Papen, 26, born in Belgium, was arrested last Monday, December 17, along with Australian photographer Jesse A. Walker after taking a series of photos on the esplanade and surrounding streets of the sacred Catholic tempo.

In photos published on her Instagram account, the Playboy model appeared as God brought her to the world walking through one of the cobblestone streets of the Vatican carrying a huge wooden crucifix on her shoulders and wearing a kind of crown of thorns, like that of Jesus Christ.

In other photos, the woman appears sitting on two copies of the Bible with her head down in front of the temple.

Papen has also posed nude in front of other holy places, as she did a couple of months ago in front of the Wailing Wall, in Israel or inside the Blue Mosque in Turkey:

This is not the first time that the model has been arrested for posing in such a way in public places or in front of sacred sites.

She was previously arrested for posing nude in front of the millennial Temple of Luxor, in the Egyptian city of Luxor.

According to herself, she has said her posed are the result of "an expression of a free spirit" and have earned her more than 345,000 followers on Instagram.
