No one knows how he did it, but a little girl convinced her grandfather to perform at her school's summer dance recital, and the presentation was not anything and is causing a sensation on the Internet.

Maeve Jones, dared to ask her 72-year-old grandfather, Bill Jones, to introduce himself to her. While he didn't know what he was getting into, Grandpa agreed to the challenge. The 10-year-old girl told Boston News 7 that her mom, Jamie, said Grandpa Jones loves to dance.

After just six practice sessions to learn the complicated choreography of tao, the duo was ready to show off their best moves. Maeve's mom shared a YouTube video of the two presentations, one of which has gone viral.

After the performance, the audience stood ovation applauding them.

But although the grandfather has surprised the world with his energy at the dance, and even made a maroma that left everyone stunned, it turns out that dancing is in the blood of the family.

At the beginning of the routine, the ringmaster explains that Maeve is a fifth generation dancer. Jones's grandmother was a professional dancer and her father was also a dancer. Bill, who now works at the San Diego Zoo, used to dance with them when he was a child, so he was more than happy to participate in the recital.

"[There] probably aren't too many tap-dancing grandparents," Bill told Boston News 7. "I was very proud to do it, and was surprised by the response."

Since the video was posted on YouTube on September 8, it has received more than 33,000 views and has left many wondering if there will be a replay.

Go grandpa!
