A three-year-old girl killed her pregnant mother after shooting her with a firearm. How did this tragedy happen? As NBC reported, the little girl found the gun in the family car and shot her mother.
The tragic event occurred in mid-April in a parking lot of a shopping center in Indiana. The bullet pierced the front seat of the car, injuring the mother, who was six months pregnant. The shot was fatal.
Also in the vehicle was the mother's youngest son, who was not injured but witnessed everything. Authorities reported that the father of the children and the victim's partner hid the weapon in a compartment in the center of the car. The man, identified as Menzo Brazien, got out of the car and entered the mall to buy clothes. It was then that the girl found the revolver and fired.
The deceased mother, identified as Shaneque Thomas, was only 21 years old. The father was detained and faces charges of putting the children in danger. So far everything indicates that it is an accident. The children are in charge of the juvenile protection department while the case is investigated.
