Donald Trump emphasized that his wife Melania Trump loves her job as America's first lady.

Trump made the remarks through a message he posted on social media. In it, the president allegedly responds to an article published by Vanity Fair magazine about the role of his wife as the country's first lady. Supposedly, a series of sources indicated to the publication that the one who wanted to hold a political and public position was Donald Trump, not necessarily his wife.

The President used his Twitter account to make it clear that Melania is happy with her role as First Lady. "Melania, our great and very hard-working First Lady, who really loves what she is doing, always thought that 'if you run [for president], you will win.' She would tell everyone that "without a doubt, he would win." I also felt that I could win (or if not, I wouldn't have run) -and the country is excellent!

With those words, Trump affirms that Melania loves her public office as first lady.

However, Vanity Fair quotes Roger Stone, a Republican and a former Trump adviser, who confirmed that it was Melania who told Trump to finally run as a presidential candidate. However, Stone alleges that she allegedly expressed that "it was not my thing", but Trump's. The article mentions that Melania has certain characteristics that make her an unusual first lady. In addition to not being born in the United States, Melania grew up in a communist country and has been the only first lady to delay her move to the White House by at least five months, among other things. However, Trump ensures that Melania is a very hard-working first lady.
