Actress Génesis Rodríguez is the new image of the beauty firm L'Oréal Paris.
"As an actress, I am aware of my beauty regimen from my early teens," the actress said in a statement. “My inspiration and education come from my mother who is my best friend. I saw her put on makeup and take care of her skin and hair with L'Oréal products. It is an affordable brand with wonderful products that empower women to look and feel good.”
Rodríguez, who starred on the first cover of CHICA, our proposal for young bilingual Latinas, was chosen by the brand for its talent and achievements. "We are very proud that Génesis Rodríguez has joined [our] family," said L'Oréal Paris President Karen T. Fondu. “[She represents] a model for young women. It really embodies the spirit of L'Oréal's philosophy: 'because you are worth it.'”
The daughter of José Luis Rodríguez, the Puma, who posed as a circus muse in our latest edition of The 50 Most Beautiful, has carved out for herself a brilliant career in the world of acting, appearing in major productions such as Man on Ledge, Casa de Mi Padre or Identity Thief.
On the other hand, L'Oréal Paris, in addition to adding Genesis to its list of Latin ambassadors, which already includes Jennifer López, Eva Longoria and Zoë Saldaña, has created a section on its website dedicated to Hispanic women with advice from famous professionals such as stylist Marcos Carrasquillo and makeup artist Claudia Betancur.
