Without a doubt, the internet can make anyone famous in seconds; Just remember singers like Justin Bieber or bloggers who have now become real celebrities. Now this phenomenon has been repeated with a group of Florida police officers who have become a social media sensation.

Officers John Nordman, Michael Hamill and Dan Rengering took a selfie while on duty, which was posted on Sept. 10 on the Gainesville Police Department Facebook page, the AP agency reported. The women immediately began to praise the good looks of the officers.

Some representatives of the female gender were even more daring and, via Facebook, asked about the marital status of the attractive police officers; some decided to request their arrest in order to meet them.

Said photograph, which has gone viral, was published in order to show that the police force was ready to attend because Hurricane Irma was hitting the state. Even in the caption of the snapshot you could read the phrase "preparing to do something." However, neither the agents nor the police station imagined the impact that this innocent image would cause.

This image already has more than 100,000 comments, most with compliments on the appearance of the agents; others requesting to be detained by them.

“How long does it take to get from Northwest Arkansas to Gainesville, Florida? It's for a friend,”wrote a netizen.

In fact, the police department had to issue an update in which it asked the population not to call the emergency number, known as 911, to "request that this group respond to 'their incident'".

Meanwhile, all three officers continue to be praised.
