After an intense search to find a young woman who licked an ice cream jar and returned it to the fridge for sale, the police finally found her whereabouts.

The Lufkin, Texas Police Department confirmed that it has already interviewed the girl, originally from San Antonio, Texas, but that she will not release her name because she is a minor, according to reports.

In addition, he reported that the case will be sent to the Texas Department of Juvenile Justice, according to a department spokeswoman.

The search for the young woman began after a video went viral where the girl is seen licking a jar of Blue Bell brand snow at a Walmart store in the area, and then return it to the fridge for sale. Between laughter and ridicule, the girl, along with a companion, find the prank funny and continue through the store without remorse.

According to the Blue Bell brand, the snow jar that was damaged was never sold as it managed to remove it from its refrigerator in time.

"Our staff recognized the location on video and we inspected the fridge," the company said in a statement. "Based on the location and inspection of the jar, we believe we have recovered the half gallon of snow that was damaged. As an extreme precaution, we have also removed all half gallons from that location.”

The company said it notified the police as soon as one of its employees recognized the location of the incident.

"Altering to make food worse is not a game and we will not tolerate it in our products," the company said.

Before being identified as a minor, the young woman faced up to 20 years in prison. Police plan to arrest her on felony manipulation charges.
