Pam Brekke arrived at a Lowe's store in Orlando on Thursday with the goal of buying a generator to keep electricity at home if Hurricane Irma ends up passing through central Florida.

The woman, who had driven 30 miles from her home in the town of Sanford, appeared to be in luck because the establishment had received a shipment of 216 aircraft earlier that morning. They all sold in less than two hours, according to local channel WFTV.

Brekke was in line when he saw the customer in front of him deliver the last remaining generator. "My father has to use oxygen and I'm worried about this storm," she said desperately through tears.

Ramón Santiago, another customer who was in the store and who did not know anything, approached him and said that he could take the generator that he had just bought. Excited, Brekke thanked her with a big hug.

"Here you have a great man," the woman assured a reporter from the WFTV channel who happened to be at the scene and recorded the scene on her phone.

"She needs a generator," said Santiago, whose first language is not English. "Okay, you don't have to worry."

"He is an angel of God, that's what he is," Brekke later told WRAL. “I am overwhelmed by the [gesture] of the Lord. He is helping our family."

The gesture touched not only the viewers of the local channels who reported Santiago's generosity, but also the networks where the recording has gone viral.

As a result, Santiago returned this Friday to the same Lowe's store, where the company delivered a generator and a can of gasoline.
