8 People Die In A Truck In Texas

Human trafficking again leaves fatalities. So far, eight people have died inside a truck in San Antonio, Texas. The semi-trailer was parked in the Wal-Mart shopping center in that city, as stated by the police.

William McManus, chief of the police force of this city, advanced through a press conference the details of the event. "Late last night we received a call from a Wal-Mart employee for a review on a cargo trailer that was parked here."

What the witness saw seemed very suspicious. “Someone in the truck approached him asking for water. He came back with the water, called the police and we arrived at the scene and we found eight people dead in the back of the trailer,”confirmed McManus.

A total of 38 individuals were counted in said truck, a new case of human trafficking. The Texas police chief described those present as young people in their 20s and 30s.

The number of victims is not yet definitive since after this terrible discovery and as a consequence of their critical health conditions, some 20 more people had to be transferred to hospitals in the area.

The speed of the police force, helicopters and other services allowed to act effectively, although it was impossible to save the 8 lives that were lost on the road once again victims of human trafficking.

“The air conditioner was not working, so everyone was removed. We had eight patients who died and another 20 who were in either extremely critical condition, said McManus.
