There are selfies of all kinds, but few should be as expensive as the one wanted to take a tourist in Los Angeles.

The woman was visiting an exhibition in the 14th Factory gallery when, trying to take a selfie, she knocked down the pedestal on which one of the works of art was placed. As in a domino effect, the fall of that pedestal caused others to lie down in a row. In the video, the woman who caused the accident can be seen bending down to take the photo, but she loses her balance and leans on the first pedestal of the exhibition, which was made up of 60 sculptures in total. After playing the first, the second and third follow and the rest is history.

The exhibition is titled Hypercaine and consists of a series of crowns - or some form of what would be a crown - created with different materials such as gold, silver, wood, herbs and flowers, according to the museum's description.

Surely this was not the type of promotion the museum was looking for, but the girl's brief awkwardness has gone viral and many now know of The 14th Factory space, which is temporary, non-profit and will last until the end of July.
