Last May, it was announced that Diego Boneta would be the actor who would play Luis Miguel in the singer's youth in his biographical series produced by Netflix. Now it is necessary to complete in cast for the stages of childhood and adolescence of El Sol, which were crucial in the beginning of his career.
Given this, a call has been launched to cast children and young people between nine and fifteen years of age, as reported by the Mexican agency Notimex.
Through a cartel, interested parties are requested to attend the Sheraton María Isabel Hotel in Mexico City on July 1 and 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (local time). Among the requirements requested, applicants are asked to have previously tried the themes “1 + 1 = 2 lovers” and “Direct to the heart”, themes that were part of their successes at the beginning of their career.
It is also requested that those present at the national team perform the songs "No you can leave me like this" and "Decide yourself" that also were in the first places of popularity in Latin America.
The official trailer for the bioseries, with the presence of Luis Miguel himself, was released last month. Although they are still in the pre-production stage of this project, it is expected to be released next year. The Telemundo chain will be in charge of its transmission in the United States; meanwhile, the Netflix company is in charge of distribution, through its OTT, for Latin America and Spain.
