This video of a father who accompanied his 12-year-old daughter to a party at a Texas school has had more than three million views. But it was not the tender image of seeing them dancing together that stole the show, but their break dance steps.

Ray Mason told Inside Edition (CBS) that, as his daughter Sadie was new to school and had no friends there, his teacher convinced him to be her partner in that dance.

Before arriving, her daughter confessed that she was very nervous because she had never been to a dance. He reassured her that this was something new for him as well, having never been to a father-daughter dance only.

When they finally took the courage to go dancing, the young girl asked her dad to dance like he did at home. It was then that things got good, as he began to make his best movements for breaks, freezes and powermoves, which were so famous in the eighties thanks to stars like Michael Jackson.

Fascinated, the students began to record it with their cell phones.

What Mason never imagined is that at 51 he would become an internet star and that he would be called from television programs such as the Ellen DeGeneres Show (ABC), one of the most popular in the country.

Of course, Mason does not forget the most important thing. "It is not about me," he said, "but about my daughter."
