Indiana authorities released a photograph of a man they want to interview about the murder investigation of Liberty German, 14, and Abigail Williams, 13, who were found dead near a stream on Tuesday. Police also want to question a person who parked at the High Bridge Trail Head on Monday afternoon.
According to the information collected, the man was in the area where the teenage girls were hiking. State police sergeant Kim Riley said autopsies conducted Wednesday confirm that the bodies are of the young girls who were reported missing Monday.
"The investigation is still in small steps, so to speak, and we don't want to [say] that information just yet," Riley told reporters about why the way the girls died has not been told.
German and Williams were found last Tuesday after they went on an excursion in the small town of Delphi, Indiana. A town of 3 thousand inhabitants.
A Snapchat posted by Liberty was the last time they were seen alive. Their bodies were found in a wooded area very close to where they were walking.
