In another shocking new twins story, two sisters were born at the same time with a different complexion that has touched the town of Quincy, Illinois.

The nine-month-old Kalani and Jarani Dean caused surprise when the family noticed at birth that the first had inherited the light complexion from their mother, Whitney Meyer, while the second had brought out the tan color from their father, Thomas Dean.

We are chromosomal twins. Kali is light and blue-eyed and Jarani is the darkest with brown eyes,”said the mother on Facebook when they were born.

The twins were born in April 2016 and since then have powerfully attracted attention, not only because of their physical difference but also because they are absolutely adorable.

According to the BBC, the odds of a two-race couple having twins from two skin aches are 1 in 500.

"First, when they were born, I wanted to believe [that something like this could happen] but it's so rare that I didn't think it could happen to my twins!" The surprised and proud mother told the local KHQA station.

The family, who also has another little one at home, assures that the differences between Kalani and Jarani do not stop there. Mom tells that little Kalani has a lot of energy and is already crawling, while Jarani loves to eat and still doesn't crawl. What an adorable pair!
